1. Dial Before You Dig – Safety First
Before we begin any pool excavation, it’s critical to locate underground utilities.
Dial Before You Dig is a free national referral service that helps you identify gas, electricity, water, and phone cables.

2. Submit the N1 Interim Compliance Certificate
The N1 Form is required before construction of your swimming pool can begin. This must be completed by the property owner and submitted to the NT Pool Fencing Unit.
3. Review NT Pool Fencing Requirements
Fencing your pool correctly is essential for safety and legal compliance.
The NT Government outlines strict barrier safety standards for pool owners.

4. Apply for Final Pool Compliance (N4 Form)
Once your concrete swimming pool construction and fencing are complete, you must submit the N4 Compliance Certificate and book your inspection.
